2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.I used to own a Gracco travel system. It never realized how great it was until I bought this Safety 1st stroller. I have been using it for about 2 weeks, but I am tempted to return it and buy another Gracco. I will see if the seller will accept a return, since I bought it online. The only reason that I do not use the Gracco anymore is because it is 8 years old. You are not supposed to use them after a certain amount of time.If you have never owned a travel system before, you may love the Safety 1st. It takes awhile to strap the baby in, but if it is your 1st baby - you will probably think that is normal. If this is your 2nd travel system, you will most likely hate it because of the flawed design. I do not work for Gracco. I just think that they make a smarter system. The design makes sense. Here are the pros and cons of the Safey 1st stroller that I have seen so far.Pros: The stroller is very attractive. That is the only positive thing I can say about it.Cons: 1) Despite advertising that it has an infinite position recline, it does not recline all the way. English was obviously not the 1st language of the person who wrote the product details. 2) The basket is supposed to be oversized, but I can't even fit my diaper bag in it. My gracco had a huge basket that I often used to hold groceries when shopping with my 1st son. 3) The car seat will not fit into the stroller without lowering the stroller seat. This makes it difficult to get access to the basket underneath. 4) The 5-point harness on the car seat is not easy to maneuver. They designed it so that you have to loosen or tighten the straps from behind the car seat. It takes awhile to adjust it because you are going back and forth from the back to loosen/tighten to the front to move the buckle. Major hassle and waste of time. My Gracco was designed so that you could loosen/tighten the straps all from in front. You loosened them by pushing a button and tightened them by pulling on a strap. Very easy and fast to adjust. 5) The left and right straps on the car seat have to overlap before being pushed down into the buckle. This will be much more difficult as the baby gets older.
