The cortina has been a really key part of our baby gear collection since our son was born. When he was an infant and we used the whole travel system, the convenience was fantastic. The cortina folds and unfolds really easily. I mastered the art of doing it one-handed while holding my baby in the other arm. It is full of features- cup holders, a lidded cup area for keys or cell phone, a toy/snack tray for baby, a big basket underneath that always fit a ton of stuff for us. The stroller is also really sturdy. There were many times I hung a diaper bag and some shopping bags on the back, then lifted my baby out of it and it still didn't tip. My son has always seemed very comfortable in it. The seat (without the car seat) reclines to an entirely flat position, so napping is easy. I had a very few minor negative observations about the stroller. The main reason I'm retiring it is that it takes up a lot of room in my trunk. I have a compact car, and though the cortina fits easily in the trunk, I really am left with no room for anything else. It's not particularly heavy, but neither is it light. As a suburbanite, I found it fine for lifting into and out of the car. If I were a city dweller living in a walk-up, I don't think I'd have been ok with the weight or the size even when folded. Also, the sun shade isn't very flexible. There were lots of times that I couldn't position it in a way that relieved my son from glare, and boy does he hate the sun in his eyes. Also, he's now about 30 pounds (big for 18 months- probably more like the average 2 year old), and he's starting to look a little squeezed in it. So, we're moving on to a high-end umbrella stroller. I'm very pleased with our experience with the Cortina, however, and I certainly feel I got my money's worth for 1.5 years of daily use.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.I bought this stroller to go with our Keyfit 30 carseat. For trips to the grocery store or the mall, it's a great stroller. Easy to unfold and stow in the car. Baby seems very comfortable. I like all of the convenience cup holders, tray, etc. it's also easy to use with the carseat. In fact we used to use it to move our baby from room to room, as his carseat was his favorite sleeping spot the first 2 months. So for indoor use, it's great.. My issues have been that it is not even remotely acceptable outside. The ride is just jarring. I know this isn't a jogging stroller, but I did expect to at least be able to push it down the sidewalk. I had to invest in a second jogging stroller, which has now turned into my primary stroller. I would encourage anyone considering a Chicco stroller to think of everywhere you may be going with it. If you want to go for walks or anything around the neighborhood you may do better to check out a different stroller that has a bit more give as far as the ride is concerned. We now have another baby on he way and I will be going with a BOB duallie rather than the Chicco double for that reason.

I have Keyfit carseat and it was so convenient to pop the seat in and out when my son was sleeping. The only downside to using the carseat with the stroller is you loose space in basket underneath.I have stopped using the carseat (my son is now too big), but I still use this stroller. Perfect for trips to the mall.
